European Consultation 2011 – Futures for mission in Europe: Emergent generations in their context

European Consultation 2011In January 2011 Redcliffe will again be hosting the European Consultation which this year is subtitled Futures for mission in Europe: Emergent generations in their context and focuses on how we communicate the Gospel to young people in Europe in ways that really connect.

This is an opportunity to join other mission agency and church leaders to explore mission in Europe with its many unique and changing facets, to share information on current activities, focus and aims, as well as future plans and dreams.

Sylvia Collins-Mayo (researcher and lecturer on the Sociology of Religion at Kingston University) is an expert on the attitudes of young people to religion, and will be amongst those speaking at the event. Ian Nicholson, from the 24/7 Prayer Movement, will lead prayer throughout the conference.

The Consultation will be held at Redcliffe College, and begins with lunch at 12 noon on Wednesday 5 January, finishing at 2pm on Thursday 6 January.
